Another week, another round of the MTA's new consecutive weeknight subway closures program (a.k.a. FASTRACK). This time, the pleasure goes to riders on the B, D, F, M lines.


Tomorrow the MTA is shutting down the countdown clocks on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 lines from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Why? To better calibrate them.


Once again there is no L service this weekend at all. But hey, at least the MTA didn't shut the line down altogether like they mulled doing 25 years ago?


Originally there was going to be a log of subway work this weekend. But then the weather forecast came in predicting actual cold (and snow!) and whatdayaknow, the MTA went and canceled most of it.


Weekend subway ridership is up by record numbers, but so are the complaints about weekend subway service.


The brand-new East River Ferry is already experiencing service delays, warning passengers of overcrowding this weekend.
