Another day, another luxury sports car registered to the elusive though apparently loaded Sea Gate Police Department, a private police force wholly separate from the NYPD with full arrest powers that patrols a gated community in Coney Island. Just 24 hours after we wrote about a Ferrari left unattended in a No Standing Zone in Lower Manhattan, another tipster followed up with yet another photo of another smokin' sports car (the same car driven by Justin "Platinum Foot" Bieber, no less), registered once again to the Sea Gate PD.

A closer look
This car, a Fisker Karma, was parked at 28th Street and 10th Avenue on March 22nd. The tipster writes that initially she took the picture after "marveling at how fabulous the car looked," but closer inspection revealed the telling placard. Better yet:
After we came out of a nearby cafe, we saw the guy who drove it come out of the "Club Management" place on the corner of the aforementioned intersection, get into the car, which contained a tiny dog, and prepare to drive off. My husband tried to compliment him on his car but he completely ignored us.
An officer at the Sea Gate Police said he didn't "even know what a [Fisker Karma] is." Asked if any of his coworkers were known to cruise in $300,000 Ferrari, the officer just chuckled coyly and asked that we call back later to speak with his commander, who was not currently available. Perhaps because he was out conducting stylish arrests in his beautiful but apparently fire-prone $116,000 hybrid? Perhaps because he's still trying to figure out how to stuff a cuffed criminal into the back of a two-door coupe? Perhaps because he's training his "tiny dog" how to sniff out drugs? We have SO MANY questions.
