Yesterday's wintry mix hit the region and many are facing a messy commute in. Long Island Rail Road riders, on certain lines, are also dealing with cancelled and crowded trains after non-passengert train derailed in Rego Park, Queens.

The MTA says, "Out of the 144 normal AM rush hour trains, 11 trains will be canceled, 5 will be diverted to Brooklyn’s Atlantic Terminal and 4 trains will be terminated at Jamaica, where commuters will be accommodated by other trains." You can see which trains were affected here.

The MTA also shared photos of crews working through the night into the morning to clear the derailment and fix the track: "One of the LIRR’s four main tracks between Penn Station and Jamaica is out of service. Repairs are continuing to broken rails and to remove four cars of the train that derailed last night."
