Someday soon you might be able to really "like" New York City. See, when billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was in town for his SNL cameo he had a few business meetings as well, and one of those meetings happened to be with our billionaire mayor, Mike Bloomberg. And what did those two very rich men talk about? The "potential" of a Facebook site for New York City among, we presume, other things.

The mayor isn't quite sure what such a site would do ("I'm not sure there's anything Facebook can do for us," he conceded at a press conference yesterday) but he still wants to try. "We just want to make sure we lead it rather than miss the opportunity to get some benefit out of it," he said. More work for the city's new 27-year-old Chief Digital Officer Rachel Sterne, we guess.

This wasn't the first time Bloomie and the Zuck have met. Bloomberg gave a speech at the company's headquarters last October. Meanwhile, nobody tell him about the Facebook pages already set up for the place New York City. Or the ones for the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, let alone the ones for the "cities" of The Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island!
