Two days after police arrested a 15-year-old for shooting blow darts at pedestrians in Brooklyn, two teens have been arrested for shooting BBs at a school janitor on the Lower East Side. Cleveland Williams was hit in his right leg as he was taking out the trash at PS 2 on Henry Street. The Post reports that police entered an apartment building across the street and "observed the stock of a rifle in plain view." A 15-year-old and a 14-year-old were taken into custody.

The father of one of the suspects said his son was "a good guy. I apologize. I ask for the janitor to forgive my son." Good guy, good shot, whatever: it's time for a curfew. Whatever happened to "seen not heard?" If the curfew fails, as it does in the plot of a popular television show, we know an island we can ship them all to where they can laugh, and shoot pool, and smoke cigars—and then there will be plenty of Pony Bologna at next year's Googa Mooga.
