Brooklyn fought back from a 3-1 deficit to force a game seven on their home court, but couldn't closeout the injury-plagued Chicago Bulls in the series deciding game, falling 99-93.

The Brooklyn Nets held on for a 110-91 victory over the Chicago Bulls in Game 5 of their best-of-seven playoff series. The Bulls still lead the series 3-2.

"When they made an adjustment or when they increased the defensive pressure, we didn't handle it or react as well as we need to," Nets coach P.J. Carlesimo said.
