A 37-year-old woman was groped by a male assailant in Bushwick this weekend, and according to police she keyed him in the face in order to escape.
The NYPD says the incident occurred at around 5 a.m. on Sunday, in the vicinity of Eldert Street and Bushwick Avenue. The victim was walking through the neighborhood when a man allegedly grabbed her shoulder from behind, pulled her close to him, and grabbed her rear end. The woman smacked him in the face with her keys, scaring the suspect off.
Police have video surveillance of the suspect below, who they say is a male, 4'11" tall and weighing 130 - 140 pounds:
