According to testimony from ex-NY1 reporter Jeff Simmons, Adele Sammarco—who claims she was sexually harassed at the news station—frequently talked about her breasts to coworkers. Simmons was the one who photoshopped the gag photo of Sammarco to get her back for covering his desk in toilet paper, and thought she would be fine with it because "Adele would talk to me so openly and candidly about her breasts," he told jurors. Instead, she is using it as proof that she was sexually harassed at the office.
Simmons believed that "As a gay man, she and I had these conversations because she knew it wasn't offensive to me." Sammarco allegedly asked him things like "Does this bra make my boobs look bigger?" and had a raunchy sense of humor. The Post even has a video of her laughing at the photoshopped image at a company picnic (though who wouldn't be in a good mood while listening to "Livin' La Vida Loca"?). But Sammarco said she felt humiliated by the photo and being called nicknames like "Big Butt Booty." Reporter Rebecca Spitz also testified against Sammarco, saying she had "what seemed to be a persecution complex." NY1 lawyer Brettina Plevin also previously said Sammarco had a "narcissistic personality disorder."
