According to the NYPD, on Sunday, January 6th, around 4:15 a.m. three men approached a 25-year-old at the West 157th Street station and told him that "they liked his jacket and that they wanted it." When the man refused to give it up, "the suspects began to beat the victim with their hands and feet, The victim resisted and one of the suspects began beating him with nunchucks." Luckily the victim was able to flee through the turnstile and escape his attackers. He was later taken to Columbia Presbyterian where he was treated and released with lacerations to his head.
In the meantime the police are looking for help finding the three attackers. According to the NYPD they are:
Suspect #1:
M/H/17-19, 5'7"-5'8" tall weighing 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a grey jacket and a yellow & burgundy baseball hat.
Suspect #2:
M/H/17-19, 5'7"-5'8" tall weighing 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a grey jacket and a green baseball hat.
Suspect #3:
M/H/17-19, 5'7"-5'8" tall weighing 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black tee short and a grey & black checkered scarf.
