The police are looking for a man who has allegedly robbed seven livery cab drivers—all at JFK Airport—at gunpoint this month.
According to the NYPD, the suspect's M.O. is the same: He gets picked up by a livery cab, and then he tells the driver that he's a police officer, "while brandishing a firearm and demanding property."
Here's a list of the incidents:
Incident# 1 (105 Precinct) On February 2, 2015 at 2225 hours, the suspect removed $250 and fled the vehicle at 226 Street and 147 Avenue.Incident# 2 (105 Precinct) On February 4, 2015 at 0320 hours, the suspect removed $100 as well as a GPS device and fled the vehicle at 224 Street and 143 Avenue.Incident# 3 (105 Precinct) On February 4, 2015 at 0520 hours, the suspect removed $30 as well as Samsung cellphone and fled the vehicle at 219 Street and 137 Avenue. Incident# 4 (113 Precinct) On February 4, 2015 at 2100 hours, the suspect removed $180 as well as credit cards and fled the vehicle at 226 Street and 147 Avenue. Incident# 5 (113 Precinct) On February 5, 2015 at 0320 hours, the suspect removed $30 as well as credit cards and fled the vehicle at 153 Street and 132 Avenue. Incident# 6 (105 Precinct) On February 7, 2015 at 0510 hours, the suspect removed $300 as well as a iPhone and fled the vehicle at 167 Street and 146 Avenue. Incident# 7 (105 Precinct) On February 9, 2015 at 1920 hours, the suspect removed $70 as well as credit cards and fled the vehicle at 228 Street and 146 Avenue.
Police also released surveillance video and a sketch of the suspect, who is described as being about 5'10" and 160 pounds.
