Oh hey there, weekend warrior, where do you think you're going? Even though we're not in the midst of a "minor holiday," (we think), a cool 17 subway lines will be disrupted this weekend anyway, so plan ahead before you head off to that doggie bar mitzvah, okay?

The 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 lines all have service disruptions, plus the A, C, D, E, F, G, J, N, Q, R, and S. The 3 is getting it bad, with no service between 34th Street-Penn Station and New Lots Avenue from 10 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Monday, while the replacement 2 train is running local in both directions between 34th Street-Penn Station and Chambers Street. And From 10 p.m. Friday, January 6 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 9, the 4 and 6 are running express between 14th Street-Union Square to Brooklyn Bridge.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 7 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 9, E trains run via the F line in both directions between 36th Street in Queens and West 4th Street, and E platforms at 5th Avenue, Lexington Avenue-53rd Street and Court Square are closed. From 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8, downtown C trains skip 50th, 23rd, and Spring Streets, too.

As we already knew, from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 7 to 5 a.m., January 9, there is no Q train service between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Prospect Park. For service between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street, take the R or N instead.  Free shuttle buses provide service between Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street and Prospect Park, which unfortunately repeats next three weekends in January and last three weekends in February. The uptown N and R trains will also skip Prince, 8th, 23rd, and 28th Streets.

And finally, the F and G trains are screwed, forever.
