Does New Jersey really want breakfast? Because first the scent of maple syrup was wafting through the air, and now it's pancake ingredients. CBS 2 reports that a fine layer of flour is covering Englewood, NJ after a silo pipe blew at the nearby La Esperanza Baking Co., releasing 500 pounds of flour into the air.
La Esperanza owner Frank Queiruga said, “The pipe was disconnected. The truck just keeping pumping out….Just blow out into the air," but that there was no cause for alarm. One local joked, “If it was a little warmer out here we’d have buns on top of the cars." It's funny because it'll never be warm again.
