A tourist from Texas reportedly experienced a New York nightmare last weekend. While visiting the city the 19-year-old says she was sexually assaulted in her midtown W Hotel room. Since the assault, the NYPD have arrested two Swedish tourists they say were involved in the crime.
The NYPD has little information to offer on the case but the Post is reporting that "Jens Saltin, 31, and Niklas Adalberth, 30, allegedly pinned the 19-year-old victim to a bed at the hotel on Lexington Avenue and East 50th Street at around 8 p.m. Saturday." According to the paper, the younger man "straddled" the victim while he and his friend "ripped off her clothes and fondled her."
Between DSK at the Sofitel and that Saudi Royal Family pal at the Plaza, the last six months have seen quite a few sexual assualts reported in high-profile hotels.
