The 44-year-old man who completely flipped his vehicle outside Bryant Park yesterday afternoon had a fatal heart attack prior to the crash, according to reports.

Cops say the man, who has not been identified, was behind the wheel of a Cadillac Escalade driving northbound on Sixth Ave when he suddenly veered across several lanes near West 41st Street, eventually clipping an MTA bus, hitting a light pole and flipping over. "We heard the impact—it sounded like a big boom,” witness Kevin Wright told the Post.

The driver was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital, and authorities say he suffered a heart attack before he lost control of the car; the attack was listed as the cause of death. No other injuries have been reported.
