Sure, La Guardia isn't as nice as say, JFK, Newark, Penn Station, Grand Central Terminal, but is it a "Third World Airport," as fake-haired vulgarian Donald Trump claimed it was yesterday? It sure is, according to someone who would know: Port Authority Executive Director Christopher Ward told the Daily News, "This is recently the only thing he's actually been somewhat right about." Oh REALLY? What about his clear-eyed assessment of the Libyan situation? And we look ghastly every morning before we apply Trump's patented QuikStik (the searing pain means it's working!).
Ward noted that "the central terminal at LaGuardia clearly needs to be rebuilt…and we have been postponing that project for seven, eight years" due to budgetary concerns. Obviously, if Trump Airlines were still around ("In the event of an emergency, your seat cushion doubles as a spray-tan device") we doubt he'd be dissing the airport.
