Police Searching For Man Who Tried To Kidnap 7-Year-Old

Police are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a 7-year-old in front of his Queens school. Police say suspect Mark Synclair, 33, tried to grab the 7-year-old from in front of PS 192 on 34th Ave. in Corona around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The child was able to struggle with the suspect, and run from the scene without any injuries. Synclair is believed to be 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds. Cops are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS or submit a tip at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
