The NYPD Technical Assistance Response Unit is trying to get a man down from a light pole at 44th Street and Broadway. Which means that Times Square is kind-of shut-down. As one person Tweeted, "Some dude that was running from the cops decides to climb up on a traffic light and shut Times Square all the way down...LAWD I Love NY"
He is now off the light pole. Last summer, the police removed a man from a light pole in Times Square... it seems he was trying to promote a CD.
