NYPD: This Guy Snatched 84-Year-Old Woman's Purse On Upper East Side

The police are searching for a man who shoved an elderly woman and snatched her purse.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at 10:37 a.m. this past Monday: "The suspect followed the 84 year-old female victim as she was walking eastbound on 82 Street at York Avenue. The suspect proceeded to push the victim and removed her purse which contained an unknown amount of cash, a credit card, and a cell phone."

Luckily, the victim was not injured. Police released video of the suspect, describing him as about 5'8" to 6', approximating 170 pounds and last wearing white sneakers and maroon pants:
