Last week, a young woman was allegedly attacked and nearly raped on Thompson Street in Soho. Now the NYPD has released another video of the suspect.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened at 1:15 a.m. on October 8th at Thompson Street between Prince and Spring Streets. The suspect approached a 20-year-old woman, described by the Daily News as a NYU student, from behind, placing her in a chokehold while trying to rape her. He left the scene with her purse. The woman was treated for facial injuries.
