The police are looking for a suspect in a robbery that occurred at a Bronx grocery store last month.

According to the NYPD, on January 11 at 3:07 p.m., a man "entered Alvin Grocery, located at 1735 Gleason Avenue, and demanded money from the cashier." The cashier told him that there was no money, but, police say, the suspect "went behind the counter and simulated having a firearm while threatening violence." Then he took an LG cellphone and a can of beer before fleeing.

The police released a surveillance image of the suspect, who is described as being in his 20's, brown eyes, wearing a black jacket, glasses, blue jeans and black gloves.
