When Moms Attack: Rebecca Sardoni, of Toms River, NJ, was arrested for allegedly cursing and slapping two boys on a school bus. Apparently Sardoni was upset over an incident involving her daughter, and the 28-year-old avenging mom wasn't alone—grandmother Stephanie Sardoni, 51, was also arrested for allegedly yelling at them too!
After entering the bus yesterday morning, Sardoni allegedly asked, "Who is Vinny" and when a boy raised his hand, witness say that she proceeded to yell at him and slapped him—and then slapped his friend sitting next to him.
WOBM reports, "Witnesses stated that the mother was using vulgarity in front of all the students and referred to a problem with her daughter and that she was going to take the young boys to court. The boys were treated for cuts to their mouths by school nurses. One was taken to Community Medical Center for treatment of a neck injury."
The stepfather of one of the victims told the Asbury Park-Press that "his son suffered a broken lip and was in pain Friday after Sardoni slammed his stepson’s head against a window during the assault." Bruce Bradford added, "We’re still trying to put together what happened. But what I understand is, supposedly something was said to a little girl on the bus. Not by my stepson, by another kid who was on the bus."
Sardoni was charged with simple assault, criminal trespass and terroristic threats. Stephanie Sardoni was charged with criminal trespass.
