A man was struck and killed by a G train at the Smith and Carroll Street subway station earlier today. The MTA tells us the incident occurred around 12:20 p.m.

This is the third incident of a person being struck by a train in about 24 hours: Yesterday before noon, a man was struck and killed by a 1 train at West 28th Street in Manhattan. Then, in the early evening, a man was struck by a 6 train at Bleecker Street.
