The trains lack doors between their cars, allowing riders to walk the trains' full length.

“We have actually designed this new signaling system so that it could accommodate longer trains,” MTA Chair Janno Lieber said.

The MTA says G trains will be suspended on weeknights starting at 9:30 p.m. from June 20th through July 8th, with F trains making select stops and shuttle buses provided elsewhere.
