A 37-year-old man died Saturday night after crashing his SUV into a dry cleaners storefront in the Bronx.
The accident took place just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Allerton and Barnes Avenue. Police said the man had been driving his 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe when he lost control and collided with two parked cars. He then crashed into a light pole and finally slammed into the cleaners.
Police responded to the accident and found the driver unconscious. The man was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The man's identity has not been released and the NYPD investigation say the investigation is ongoing.
