Sabrina Milo, the Brooklyn teacher arrested for allegedly making "Columbine-like" threats at Fort Hamilton High School, is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, and faces up to five years in prison if convicted of making terrorist threats. However, lawyer Andrew Stoll says she is no threat to anyone. "She needs to be medicated," he told the court yesterday.

Milo reportedly has a history of strange behavior. She was sent to the rubber room last May after hitting a student on the hand with a ruler, though many of her students came to her defense and said the situation was blown out of proportion. She also reportedly told a black student he should dress up as a brown Ugg shoe for Halloween. Michael Daly at the Daily News says, "Milo did not go so far as to assault anybody. She appears to have only voiced a violent fantasy in the teacher's lounge the way she sometimes shares her dreams in class. That was enough, as she should have known before. She certainly knows it now, unless she really is crazy."

Milo told other teachers she would bring in a "machine gun under a trench coat and it would be Columbine all over again," and her husband's ex-wife said, "I'm shocked, but I'm not surprised." But her students still stand by her. One said, "She jokes around a lot, she sings and dances a little bit just to make the classes fun. This must just be a real big misunderstanding—it's mad crazy."
