2008_01_packfan.jpgLess than 6 hours until kickoff at Lambeau Field and it's a balmy -6° in Green Bay. With winds at 15 miles per hour, Accuweather's real feel temperatures are -18°. While temperatures will increase by game time, it's still going to be ass-cold.

The cold weather and the importance of the game makes it an event that could be one for the ages, something that seems to happen with frigid temperatures. Despite the cold weather, Eli Manning won't be wearing a glove on his throwing hand, saying. "No, I am not going to wear one, definitely not on my throwing hand." While he may not wear a glove on his throwing hand, we think Manning will go Michael Jackson and don one glove.

Even with the cold weather, Manning is still the superstitious type, making his fiancée deal with the elements in Green Bay by sitting in the stands. McGrew, who sells oil stocks and lives in New Orleans should take a key from this Packers fan who wears 7 layers to help fend off the cold. Eli's big brother Cooper told The Post that Abby McGrew "almost always sits in the stands, but I guess once or twice she was invited to sit in a suite and things didn't end well," and that Eli told McGrew that "'I don't care if it's 4 degrees in Green Bay, you're sitting in the stands.'" Aww, that Eli is such a nice guy. Seriously though, we're glad she's sitting in the stands. Hopefully for the Giants, there's a bigger curse that will be in play during tonight's game - the Sports Illustrated cover post. Brett Favre graced the magazine's cover this week.

The Giants and Packers play tonight at 6:30 on Fox.
