Detailed maps of 1 World Trade Center—the building that NYPD chief Ray Kelly called the nation's No. 1 terror target—were shared on the city's Department of Finance website, the Post reports. The floor plans revealed "detailed schematics of several floors" to help potential tenants decide if they want to rent. According to the Post, they could also help terrorists determine "locations of load-bearing walls, mechanical rooms, ventilation shafts, exits, elevators and stairs along with every nook and cranny." But what's the difference—the GOVERNMENT already has access to these floor plans, so they can do a controlled demolition anytime they want, sheeple!
The Port Authority insists the maps, which were labeled "Secure Document—Confidential—For Official Use Only," are so not confidential, and won't help the terrorists one bit. So we've included them below! "The Port Authority provided scrubbed drawings to our consultants," said a spokesperson. "While their default template is marked 'secure' and 'confidential,' the pictures in that frame are not." The PA blames architectural consultant Beyer Blinder Belle for stamping the maps "confidential." And on the bright side, at least some "dumpster-diving blogger" didn't find the maps in the trash.

Still, "experts" warn the Post that the maps could help terrorists determine the best place to plan a bomb or how to best organize a Mumbai-style attack. "We should not be sharpening our own guillotines," Dr. Maria Haberfeld, who teaches counterterrorism to police agencies nationwide, tells the tabloid. "Terrorists do train. They do countersurveillance, they look at targets and evaluate points of entry, points of evacuation." And when the time comes to bring magazines like Condé Nast Traveler to their knees, they'll be nothing anyone can do to stop them. So maybe this is a win-win?
