Despite what Pretty Woman would have you believe, most women in the world's oldest profession aren't just innocent, misguided souls waiting for their white knight. According to the Post, one Manhattan man found this out the hard way after allegedly getting conned out of $100K by an Oklahoma escort. Robert Brot, 57, met Lindsey DeLeon, 26— a "Sweet Southern Redhead with Natural DDD's"—on a dating website in 2008. After finding out she had two kids, lots of debt and was working as a stripper and escort to pay the bills, he decided he wanted to help her out.

According to the suit, Brot (co-founder of the J Companies) gave DeLeon $118,061 in the time they were together, and she still owes him $105,380. Brot paid for DeLeon to move to New York and go to school, with the understanding that she would pay him back when she could. However, she continued her stripping and escort work and then returned to Oklahoma. Presumably to lure her back, Brot said that if she returned and married him, he'd waive her debt, but DeLeon stayed in Oklahoma and continued to sell herself.

Brot's lawyer says he was emotionally hurt by DeLeon. "For Robert, it was a real relationship...The guy got his heart broken. He really got taken in." Ex-fiance Colton Braig, 26, has also come forward and said that DeLeon "did a similar thing to me...I bought her a ring too." Apparently DeLeon was engaged to Braig when she met Brot, and Braig thought she went to New York just to go to school. DeLeon told the Post she will eventually comment on the situation in a "graceful or classy way that is without emotion." This suit is not DeLeon's first run in with the law; in 2007 she pleaded guilty to writing fake checks and was ordered to pay $4,500 in restitution.
