A convicted murderer who escaped from a Queens mental institution by swapping clothes with a friend was collared on Wednesday in Memphis, police say.

33-year-old Raymond Morillo escaped from Creedmore Psychiatric Facility in northeast Queens on Tuesday, a stunt he pulled off by exchanging clothes with a visitor and simply walking past security—despite his distinctive tear drop tattoo. Morillo enjoyed his freedom for just over 24-hours before cops nabbed him at a Greyhound bus terminal in Memphis, which does seem like a fitting location for such a capture.

Morillo had been locked up for 15 years for manslaughter, and was undergoing an evaluation at the facility at the time of his escape. He'll be extradited to New York today.
