Karma has not been kind to the two EMTs accused of ignoring a dying pregnant woman in an Au Bon Pain in December 2009. Last July one of the two, Jason Greene, was fatally shot in the face during a dispute outside of a SoHo club and now comes word that the other accused EMT, Green's then-girlfriend Melissa Jackson, was collared Tuesday trying to swipe $50 worth of cosmetics from a Walmart in Westbury.
The FDNY has suspended Jackson without pay for 30 days.
As far as the Au Bon Pain case goes, both Green and Jackson have insisted since the fateful day when six-month-pregnant Euthisa Rennix died that they did not not notice her, and even if they had they did not have the proper equipment to help her. In October Jackson was charged with official misconduct.
