Yesterday afternoon, two police officers arrested two farebeaters at a Brooklyn subway station...and discovered one of them had a loaded gun.

The NYPD says at 3:54 p.m., Police Officers Jermaine Hodge and Yves David were on the lookout for farebeaters at the Rockaway Avenue station, which has the A and C. They saw two males walk through the exit gate without paying their fare, so the cops arrested them and found on a loaded .22-caliber gun on Matt Lewis, 20. Louis was charged with theft of subway service as well as criminal possession of a weapon while 23-year-old Arnold Riley was charged with theft of service.

Lately, the police have been finding a number of farebeaters with loaded guns and with loaded guns and drugs.
