An 11-year-old Brooklyn girl was found dead in the fourth fatal fire in New York on Monday.

Emergency responders found Shirr Teved, 11, unconscious and unresponsive inside her home on Ocean Parkway in Kensington after reports of a fire Monday night around 10:30 p.m., according to police.

She was taken to Maimonides Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Fire marshals were investigating the cause of the fire.

Shirr's death capped a deadly day that saw three other people die in separate fires.

Police on Tuesday identified the victim of a fire on Casals Place in Co-Op City in the Bronx as Bernard Edwards, 85. He was found passed out in a fire inside his 11th floor apartment shortly before 3 a.m. Monday. He and a 49-year-old woman believed to be his daughter, who was discovered suffering from smoke inhalation in the building's lobby, were taken to Jacobi Hospital, where the woman was listed in stable condition.

A fatal fire in Fort Greene is now being treated as a homicide, according to police. Around 3:20 a.m. Monday, police responded to a call of a fire at a home on Adelphi Street and found a man dead in a building lobby—reportedly with stab wounds.

The victim has not been identified by police, but multiple outlets report the man is L. Antonio Litman, the owner of the three-story brownstone. The fire was reportedly contained to the basement. Litman was found with puncture wounds to his neck and back, authorities told the NY Times.

Litman operated a charity, Virginia’s House of Hope, that provides meals and financial support to the homeless, students, and families in need.

"Antonio had a warm personality and a shining countenance,” Litman's close friend and former boss, Clay Maitland, told the Times. “He just charmed everyone he met. He was one of the happiest, nicest, most welcoming, decent human beings I’ve ever known. I’m not saying that lightly. He was kindness itself."

Police have also not identified the victim of another suspicious fire in Queens Village early Monday. Responders arrived at a fire at a house under construction at 103-18 217th Street and found a man dead on the scene. According to news reports, the man was found with his arms bound behind his back.
