A day after Vice President Biden called out Mayor Bloomberg for inflating the cost of trying Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other suspected 9/11 plotters in a Lower Manhattan courtroom, Bloomberg said the Veep doesn't know what he's talking about. The Mayor—who wants a guarantee that the federal government will pick up the tab for the terror trial—insisted that his estimate of $200 million per year is "reasonable."

According to the Associated Press, Bloomberg also pointed out that other than Biden's claim that the security estimate "is much more than would be needed," no one in the Obama administration had "objected to the cost estimates before." President Obama himself has said he will play a greater role in determining the venue for the terror trial, as his administration hadn't anticipated such strong opposition against trying the case in a federal courthouse in Foley Square.

This isn't the first time that Bloomberg and Biden have squabbled. During the swine flu scare, Biden urged Americans to keep away from confined spaces, like subways, while Bloomberg insisted trains were safe because he doesn't "see people coughing and sneezing on the subway."
