Nine people were seriously or critically injured after an SUV crashed into a wall on the New England Thruway in the Bronx earlier this morning.
The FDNY says they responded to a call that came in at 5:13 a.m., about an accident near the Connor Street exit. WABC 7 reports the vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade, "veered out of control and slammed head-on into a wall near the exit ramp."
According to the FDNY, the nine victims were all adults—all in the same SUV—and all were in serious or critical condition. They were taken to Jacobi Hospital.
