Police said Monday they found an octogenarian who went missing from his apartment building in Manhattan over the weekend.
NYPD officials said 88-year-old Osvaldo Acosta was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Sunday as he left his home at NYCHA’s Elliott Houses on West 25th Street and 10th Avenue in Chelsea.
Acosta has dementia and was wearing a white medical bracelet at the time, according to authorities.
Police said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black hat, black pants and gray shoes.
Officials on Monday morning announced Acosta had been located.
