The California-style taco-making wizards behind Otto's Tacos have thus far laid claim to the East and West Villages. But it looks like the gang'll be moving on up, with plans to open an outpost in Hell's Kitchen. Bros and tacos 4ever!
Eater reports that the Otto's crew have applied for a liquor license at a space on 9th Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets. No word on prospective opening dates or official confirmation, but this is NEWS INDEED for Midtown residents, since Otto's is a magical land filled with shrimp tacos and masa fries, delicacies we could all use more of in these times of strife.
For now, Otto's delivers anywhere in Manhattan below 60th Street. Uptown, Brooklyn and those other boroughs, you're out of luck.
