As we noted earlier, the Bronx Zoo peahen—after enjoying a couple days of freedom—has been recaptured by the zoo's handlers. Though as she explained on her Twitter, "I let them capture me so I didn't have to walk back." The Wildlife Conservation Society sent along this photo as proof that she's back in their care, pictured with Zoo Director Jim Breheny and Dr. Paul Calle, WCS Director of Zoological Health. They say she's "home safe and sound."

So, with one cobra and one peacock having escaped so far this year, what's next? We're hoping for a red panda.
