Coinciding with this weekend's funeral for slain Brownsville mom Zurana Horton, the Post published a harrowing look at gang violence in Brownsville, where young thugs are organizing in increasingly smaller, irrational, and "hot headed" groups.

Yesterday over 250 mourners turned out for the funeral for Zurana Horton, the Brownsville woman who was killed in a blaze of gang-related gunfire while picking up her children from school earlier this month.

Apparently violence from the warring Waves and Hoodstars brought up the Friday afternoon bloodshed.
