"Coney Island's always been a place for people to come and remember what it feels like to smile, and I think we all need that now more than ever."

Starting April 9th, Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park and Luna Park in Coney Island will reopen for the first time since October 19th, 2019.

The beachfront amusement park is now open for the season.

"The whole Harvey Weinstein thing is very sad for everybody involved," he said.

The other big star of the film is Coney Island itself, and cinematographer Vittorio Storaro perfectly captures the vibrant area in all its mid-century charm.

It stars Kate Winslet, Justin Timberlake, Juno Temple and Jim Belushi, and is set in Allen's home borough of Brooklyn in the 1950s.

Nearly all the rides were open at both Luna Park and Deno's Wonder Wheel, with no lines anywhere.

His latest film will bring Allen back to his hometown borough.

You've got a chance to ride the Wonder Wheel to close out 2016 or open 2017.

Despite what that evil little weather icon on your phone says, spring is here, and with it comes Coney Island's grand reopening this Sunday.
