It was an attack of the hot, smelly tomatoes in Brooklyn yesterday.

Tomato Battle organizers say the event is "an efficient and entertaining use of nonedible waste." But in the photos the tomatoes look totally edible.

Let's all throw tomatoes at each other this weekend.
