The open streets event expanded to all five boroughs in 2023 and now has extended hours.

Here's everything you need to know about this year's joyous event, which sees eight miles of prime Manhattan asphalt cleared of motor vehicles and reserved for recreational activities.

Seven miles of prime roadway, from the Brooklyn Bridge to East 72nd Street, will be closed to vehicles again next Saturday

Summer Streets will return in August after being canceled last summer due to the pandemic.

Tens of thousands of people had a lovely time along the seven mile route without cars and trucks getting in the way.

The Saturdays are August 3rd, 10th, and 17th.

See it in person August 11th and 18th, as Summer Streets shuts down 7 miles of roadway to vehicles, and hands it over to pedestrians and cyclists.

Three hundred thousand people participated last year!

Popular return attractions like the giant water slide and Midtown zipline were joined this year by a miniature, dishwasher-themed "water park".
