Sad news from Bellevue Hospital today: a second passenger who was critically injured in the October 4 East River helicopter crash has died.

The NTSB has ruled out engine failure as the cause of the crash, and are now investigating possible weight and wind concerns, as well as the helicopter's reported vulnerability to rotor problems.

The NTSB continues to investigate what caused a helicopter to crash into the East River and kill one of the passengers.

In his younger days, pilot Paul Dudley also moonlighted as a cat burglar.
