NYPD crash investigations

Sammy Cohen Eckstein's grieving family is imploring the community, police and public officials to lower the speed limit on neighborhood streets to 20 miles per hour.

The incidents occurred in East New York, Jamaica, and Greenpoint.

Zero murders, but six traffic fatalities.

The NYPD's Chief of Transportation explained the department's fixation with ticketing shaded motorists, and assured us that Highway Patrol isn't combing the streets looking for illegal windows.
