The NYPD claims that Joseph Waldo caused more than $1,500 in damage to MTA property, and was nabbed for tagging an ad at the 3rd Avenue L station on June 18.

The mysterious Moustache Bandit has been unveiled. Yesterday police arrested 26-year-old Joseph Waldo, who they say has been covering posters across town with the word "moustache."

You might not immediately recognize his moniker, but you certainly pass by Moustache Man's handiwork in the subways everyday—and now he's pissed that imitators have started copying his shtick.
