A former NYPD officer has been sentenced to over four years in jail for a racially-charged false arrest, and for assaulting another man who he believed stole his snowplow equipment.

"I have never been stopped and frisked. But I can no longer look mothers and grandmothers in the eye, knowing in the bottom of my heart that there is a two-tiered justice system," said Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.

The NYPD officer who was charged with civil rights violations in connection with a stop-and-frisk arrest has now been accused of ruining another man's life: "I feel he [Daragjati] racially profiled me."
