Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the Metro-North crash that killed six people.

Six people died in the crash.

The third rail broke into 12 pieces, piercing the first train car and SUV.

Another driver said, 'She wasn't in a hurry at all, but she had to have known that a train was coming.'

"You can picture the shell of the car and inside is nothing but ashes and debris and then having six or seven sections of the third rail just stacked up inside of it."

The NTSB has collected the wreckage for its investigation.

Ellen Brody, a mother of three, was returning to her home in Edgement from Chappaqua, where she worked at a jewelry design shop.

Seven people were killed, but the damage was so terrible the governor is surprised the death toll wasn't higher.
