Friends, classmates and family members have all begun speaking out about the 16-year-old Connecticut high school student accused of fatally stabbing a teenage girl after she reportedly rejected his prom proposal.

Around 200 students from the school gathered at Walnut Beach to pay tribute to Sanchez, with many of the students dressed in the gowns and tuxedos they had been planning to wear to their prom.
