"Lou Reed: Caught Between the Twisted Stars," at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, ranges from rare demos to personal and professional ephemera.

The exhibit, which offers "previously unseen and unheard work from Reed’s incredible archive," is set to open on March 2nd, 2022, to coincide with what would have been Reed's 80th birthday.

The archive's formation was "initiated and guided" by Laurie Anderson, whose primary goal was to keep everything together and in New York City.
