NYPD Chief Of Department Terence Monahan told reporters that there would be "no more tolerance" about people breaking curfew.

The tense standoff on the Manhattan Bridge was resolved peacefully with most protesters walking back to the Brooklyn side and exiting the bridge without any violent confrontations with police officers.

"The curfew man, that's just the law's way of making it legal for them to brutalize us now, chase us off the streets," one protester said.

Demonstrators marched in a fourth day of protests in response to the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
