The Long Island City market will only be at 46th Avenue one weekend a month this season, but many of the same vendors are also at the Astoria Flea & Food, which opens this Saturday May 19th.

The seasonal weekend market kicks off its third season April 11th, with more than 80 food, fashion and art vendors in a waterfront lot.

The open air market brings food and goods to a 24,000 square foot parking lot Saturdays and Sundays through October.

Organizers hope to have around 100 vendors operating out of a parking lot Saturdays and Sundays in the heart of Long Island City.
